Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of HalfByte products and services. Please read them carefully before using any of our products.
Acceptance
By accessing or using any HalfByte product, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using our products on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
Use of products
You may use our products only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not use our products to violate any applicable law, infringe on the rights of others, or transmit malicious code. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at security@halfbyte.com.br if you suspect unauthorized access.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. Prices may change with 30 days notice. Failure to pay may result in suspension of your account.
Intellectual property
HalfByte and its licensors own all rights to our products, including trademarks, patents, and copyrights. These terms do not grant you any right to use our intellectual property outside of the permitted use of our products.
Your content
You retain ownership of data and content you submit to our products. By submitting content, you grant HalfByte a limited license to store, process, and display it as necessary to provide the service. We will not access your content except to provide support or as required by law.
Warranty disclaimer
Our products are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that our products will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HalfByte shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of our products after that date constitutes acceptance.
